London MCM Expo this weekend: I won't be there, but
lots of much more interesting and attractive people will
be.  It's at the ExCel: http://www.londonexpo.com

Me, I'm pretty much on house arrest for the next two
weeks, trying to clear work off my desk.  May even
have to pass up a gig I wanted to go to.  Still, it'll be
worth it if, for the next few months, all I have to worry
about is the screenplay, a couple of graphic novels and
a book.  And FREAKANGELS.  And a few columns.
(And the consulting/writing projects.)  Christ.

In a lot of ways, it feels like the year's wrapping up
already.  Which might be why I'm thinking a lot about
2010.  (The Year We Make Contact, heh) Because
of the screenplay and the film, I'll be doing less comics
-- if I don't fuck up the screenplay, and we actually
move forward, then I assume a producer's role, as I
do on Untitled Arthurian Thing if that gets to the
starting line.  And in any case it's time to change tack
a bit, do something other than (colour?) Pop miniseries.

2010: The Year I Deliberately Shrink My Audience To
Nothing.  Hm.  Doesn't sound snappy enough.

But, there's something to that.  Just going off at some
weird angle for a while sounds very tempting.  Perverse,
see?  Which is not the same as "pervert."  I can
hear you, you know.
